It's spring, we're getting a makeover and it's an opportunity for me to give you a look back at this face brush that I tested from every angle.

I was quite thrilled by the fact that a large retail brand produced its own face brush. First of all, for a financial reason: it is generally cheaper, and we can benefit from certain promotions in Large Distribution. This makes the product more accessible.
In addition, it is a product that requires replacing the brush heads after a while ... These consumables, in the long run, a hollow in the budget ... Pure Skin is a facial cleansing brush, a beauty device that allows you to perfect make-up removal and cleanse the skin deeply and gently.
Its micro-oscillation system allows cleaning 7 times more effective than manual cleaning on make-up skin. And yes, long-lasting foundations are great but they remain super difficult to remove perfectly, as well as pollution particles.

The idea is to gently dislodge impurities, without the risk of irritating the skin, even the most fragile. Nivea offers 2 types of brush heads for this: one for sensitive skin, one for normal to combination skin.

The kit in which the brush came is really pretty. I say this because we rarely dare to offer a product of a large area, but there it really makes a gift box. It contains the Pure Skin Brush + a sensitive skin brush head + a 20ml Cleansing Gel + the Cover and protective support + a User guide + the charger, and the warranty is 2 years.

How is Pure Skin used? With what product?

Nivea launched at the same time a Pure Skin cleansing gel (which is very good), but in truth, the brush can integrate any make-up routine: with oil, milk, micellar water, cleansing gel…
Furthermore, it is waterproof and can be used in the shower.

 Don'ts: The only restriction is not to use it with an exfoliating product, the action may be too irritating (it's a matter of common sense). And obviously, we remove the eyes manually before moving on to the rest (unless you don't care about your eyes).

Here is how it is used: you wet your face, apply your cleaning product on the brush, turn on, and just follow the integrated timer. We hear a small sound every 20 seconds which tells us that we must change the area: forehead, chin, nose, and we finish with the cheeks, 15 seconds each.

It is recommended to follow these instructions carefully so as not to irritate. Then rinse the skin, the tip of the brush, and replace the small-cap.

Nivea recommends using Pure Skin 2 to 3 times a week to start. Then we can switch to daily use. The trick is to grope a bit at the start in order to find the right rhythm for your own skin.

My test & opinion on Pure Skin

I have combination and sensitive skin. I opted for the sensitive skin brush to start, and I realized a few months later when I tried the one for combination skin that I supported it very well. However, I recommend taking it easy at first, see how the skin reacts and adapts to this new cleaning routine.
As I have been using it for several months now, I have tested the brush from every angle: with all kinds of cleaning products, in the shower, occasionally, then daily.

Cleaning takes a total of 70 seconds. I include it in my routine after brushing my teeth, when I use a mouthwash (yes, I am multitasking).
As I have very mixed skin, I use the boost function on the T zone. To trigger it, just press the button when the device is on. When I use it in the shower, I also use it on the neck and décolleté.

As for the result, I am delighted. My skin is soft, the clearer complexion, I have fewer imperfections The device has found its way into my beauty routine and I am particularly delighted that my sensitive skin supports it so well.
